The Association publishes a quarterly magazine called the NYS GFOA Newsletter. In each issue you will find information about NYS GFOA services as well as original or reprinted articles of interest to state and local government finance officers and policy-makers. Newsletter Articles
Any interested parties are welcome to submit articles for consideration. The NYS GFOA Board of Governors reserves the right for the Editor of the Newsletter to reject any advertisement or article submitted due to space limitations or editorial content.

Newsletter Archive

The NYS GFOA Membership Directory was re-introduced as a service in 1998. Published annually in the second quarter of the year, the Directory contains contact information for all NYS GFOA members. The information is organized by region, alphabetically, and contains a Services Directory, making it is the easiest way to tap into the collective expertise of the Association. The Directory is provided to all NYS GFOA members.

The Membership Directory is a source for networking, services information and more. Seminars

The Training Seminars include opportunities for sponsorships and topic presentations.

Sponsorship: Representatives of sponsoring companies are identified by a ribbon attached to their name badges. Sponsoring companies are promoted on reader boards throughout the conference facility and are listed on a contact sheet included in the participants materials. Two subsequent issues of the Nefwsletter also include a contact listing of sponsorsing companies.

Topic Presentations: Companies are welcome to submit their ideas and suggested speakers for NYS GFOA to consider when developing the seminar programs. Strict adherence to the topic area is mandatory; companies are prohibited from using any session as a platform to market the company's products or services.

Annual Conference

The NYS GFOA Annual Conference includes opportunities for exhibiting, advertising, sponsorships and topic presentations.

Exhibitors: Traffic flow and exclusive exhibit time is integrated into the program. Each exhibitor is identified by a ribbon attached to their name badge. A reference listing of all exhibitors is included in the conference program booklet. Exhibitors are provided attendee lists in advance of the conference upon request.

Advertising: The Annual Conference booklet, (finished size: 8.5 x 11 inches) includes both full and half page advertisement options.

Sponsorship: Representatives of sponsoring companies are identified by a ribbon attached to their name badges. Sponsorship companies are promoted on reader boards throughout the conference facility and are listed in the conference program booklet. Two subsequent issues of the Newsletter also include a contact listing of sponsorsing companies.

2008 Exhibitor, Advertising, and Sponsorship information will be available in late November.
